Since then, Hensons has developed and perfected its curing process to create a delicious tasting, premium product using a low sodium brine that’s healthier than the original, more versatile for chefs and more appealing to modern customers.

The company works with many leading chefs and restaurant groups to create innovative products that are delivered up to six days a week. Its bespoke butchery and growing range of freshly made gourmet burgers are menu leaders in the booming premium casual dining sector. Now based in London’s Kings Cross, it also imports speciality products such as continental deli, cheese and other fine foods for chefs and catering businesses in the south-east and for wholesalers nationwide. It is a member of the British Guild of Fine Food and the National Federation of Catering Butchers. Its butchery is EU approved and audited regularly by the Food Standards Agency. Hensons is also a BRC approved distributor.
