Hensons Famous Salt Beef is a favourite choice of some of the UK’s highest profile chefs – Raymond Blanc, Heston Blumenthal, Marcus Wareing and Eric Chavot. The 20-restaurant group Brasserie Blanc served Hensons Famous Salt Beef on its entrée menu offering it as a warm salt beef salad with sweet picked grelot onions and gherkin, baby cabbage and mustard dressing.

Clive Fretwell, executive chef director, Brasserie Blanc, said: “Hensons Famous Salt Beef is perhaps the best salt beef available in the UK. A big thank you to chef Eric Chavot, who introduced me to it.”

Heston Blumenthal’s The Perfectionists’ Café concept – inspired by the “In Search of Perfection” TV series – caters to travellers at Heathrow’s new look Terminal 2 who want exceptional food fast and celebrates some of Britain’s favourite dishes. It serves Hensons Famous Salt Beef slow-cooked hot or cold on a rye bread sandwich with mustard and dill pickles.

Chef Eric Chavot, Brasserie Chavot said “Hensons has perfected the brining process, with the right balance of saltiness just right and the flavour far superior to any other. The consistency of the meat is amazing.”

Top customers include Selfridges’ famous The Brass Rail, Brasserie Blanc, Marcus Wareing, Heston Blumenthal’s The Perfectionists’ Café, Henry Morgan and the Goring Hotel.
